　　此幅唐卡是1954年十四世达赖喇嘛受到毛泽东主席接见时赠送给主席的礼物。画面中央为站在天安门城楼上招手致意的毛主席，背景为飘扬的五星红旗；两侧和下方为9幅描绘西藏和平解放后进藏部队为西藏所做各项工作的彩色连环画。唐卡采用镜框装裱。镜框金质，上有吉祥八宝和飞鸽、仙鹤、梅花鹿、大象等图案；下方刻有铭文：“敬爱的毛主席，永远跟着您，建设新西藏，建设伟大祖国。达赖喇嘛•丹增嘉措一九五四年十月”。（张丽）
